Models use publisher-verified downloads.delivery: archive is the ordinary FBX ZIP; files is the exact FBX/required-texture consumer inventory, with one notice. Missing delivery means FBX unavailable; do not silently select all-format archives. Textures use verified downloads.minimal; there is no legacy fallback. The files[] at asset root are retained original/preview files, not the batch payload. downloads.full/models/direct and model downloads.minimal are removed in API v3. Legacy full/models Pages ZIPs are no longer generated; old URL compatibility is not guaranteed. Sources, Git history and existing Release attachments are retained. Batch consumers use downloads.delivery.files and its verified chunk manifest. Never assume GitHub Release links allow browser fetch. Keep direct Release hosts. Every file and ZIP has bytes and sha256. Verify the downloaded bytes before use. Keep LICENSE.txt from minimal ZIPs. For legacy ZIPs, keep both ATTRIBUTION.txt and LICENSE.txt. Indicate any changes in your credits. Models: Y-up unless metadata says otherwise; unit and dimensions are explicit. Textures: width/height are exact pixel dimensions; resolution is the longest edge. wrapMode applies to both axes: repeat, mirror, or clamp. seamless means continuity under that declared mode. Mirror sources are NOT guaranteed seamless with repeat. Clamp atlases have seamless:false and must not be tiled. UI previews match these modes. Check maps; baseColor-only assets do not include normal/roughness/height maps. Scalar roughness/metalness are preview material settings, not texture maps. normalConvention applies only when maps.normal exists. Base color is sRGB. Schema 2 adds rectangular and non-tileable textures; consumers of 1.0.0 must handle wrapMode and dimensions before applying textures. No authentication, POST endpoints, or server-side search. Filter the JSON locally. Only public assets appear in the catalog. Drafts are never published.
